North London Forever

In May 2026, Arsenal supporters gathered across North London to celebrate a long-awaited Premier League title. After 22 years of anticipation, the streets of Islington were transformed into a sea of red and white as thousands of fans came together to share a moment of collective joy.

Taking its title from the anthem sung by supporters on match days, North London Forever is a photographic account of that remarkable day.

As members of Eyelight photo collective and lifelong Arsenal fans, Tony (Samuel) and I, Franck (Toto), joined the crowds to witness the celebrations and document the atmosphere as it unfolded.

What interested us most was not only the trophy itself, but also the people. Families, friends and strangers stood side by side, united by a shared sense of pride and belonging. For a few hours, differences disappeared as the streets filled with songs, flags, laughter and emotion.

These photographs capture some of those fleeting moments; an extraordinary public celebration and a portrait of a community united by a common passion.
